RAISED $140,000
NEW BUILDING FUND FOR COWICHAN DISTRICT HOSPITAL:
On April 17, 2010, at our Gala Dinner Auction, chair
Meryle Hilberry announced that the foundation has dedicated 1 million dollars to a new fund supporting an expanded and new community hospital. The existing hospital opened in 1967, and has served us well in the past 40+ years, but can no longer adequately serve our growing and aging population. Your donation to this new fund will help demonstrate the urgency of a new hospital to the Provincial government. Additionally, the Foundation is
committing 20 cents of every campaign dollar to be designated toward our hospital building fund until a new facility is built!
